Surface

    1. All surfaces were visually inspected at 100%. The condition of the surface complies with API 5L standards.
    1. The outer surface of the pipe shall be coated with a varnish layer.

NDT

Both pipelines must be ultrasonically tested as per API 5L specifications on the body of the pipelines and pipe ends:

    1. Longitudinal: 100 percent surface of the pipe
    1. Pipe ends that are not tested by an automated ultrasonic device shall be checked by manual UT or Magnetic Particle Test.

Certification and Traceability

A 3.2 certificate according to EN 10204, certificate by recognised and neutral inspection body, must be supplied to all specifications. In SI units (B) the marking shall be in accordance with the requirements of the API & mill standard.

Dimensional Control

All dimensions will be supplied according to API 5L clause 9.11; In addition, the following tolerances apply:

    1. Pipe body: +/- 0,75%
    1. Pipe end: +/- 0,5%
    1. Wall thickness: +15%, -12,5%
    1. Length: -0 / +100mm

Pipe Ends

Pipe Ends are beveled. End angle shall be 30°- 0°/+5°, root face shall be 1.6mm +/- 0.8mm and fitted with bevel protectors.

Protection

Pipes are varnished on the outside.
